HIM at Sonisphere festival, Pori 2010

Yesterday HIM played at legendary Sonisphere festival in Pori, Finland. It looks that Ville was/is ill but as fans have reported, the gig was great and guys were in good mood.
But today something happened there, do not know more information yet, but storm hit the area and demolished stage. I really believe guys are already safe back home. And of course that it is not so bad as it was at one festival here in Slovakia year ago...

HIM včera odohrali koncert na legendárnom festivale Sonisphere v Pori, vo Fínsku. Vyzerá to tak že Ville je/bol chorý ale ako fanúšikovia referovali, koncert bol skvelý a chalani mali dobrú náladu.
Dnes sa ale niečo stalo, neviem zatiaľ viac informácií ale tú oblasť vraj zasiahla búrka a zdemolovala pódium. Skutočne dúfam že chalani sú už bezpečne doma. A samozrejme verím že to nie je tak vážne ako to bolo na festivale Pohoda pred rokom tu...

HIM Rock Am Ring performance 2010

Few minutes ago HIM finished their set at RAR festival. Hope you all enjoyed it, cause I did! It was so much fun with those a bit higher backing vocals... Don't want to piss anybody but I'm pretty happy Burton don't sing :)
If someone noticed, Ville sang "I still love you" many times during Funeral Of Heart, maybe some personal message to someone? Doesn't matter really, what what does, guys really enjoyed it (that funny "pup-ru-di-pap" confirmed it :D)!

Pred pár minútami HIM odohrali svoj set na RAR festivale. Dúfam, že ste si to vychutnali, pretože ja áno! Bola to riadna sranda kvôli tým trocha vyššie vytiahnutým zadným vokálom... Nechcem nikoho naštvať, ale tom rada že Burton nespieva :)
Ak ste si niekto všimli, Ville spieval niekoľko krát "I still love you" počas Funeral Of Hearts, žeby nejaká osobná správa pre niekoho? Na tom ale nezáleží, na čo ale áno je, že chalani si to skutočne užili (to smiešne "pup-ru-di-pap" to potvrdzuje :D)!

At least so informed kurier and this information you can also find at official fest webpage! Still, this date did not appear at current tour list at official HIM page, so we need only wait for confirmation.
PS: I so wish this to be true!

Takto aspoň informuje kurier a táto informácia je uverejnená aj na oficiálnych stránkach festivalu. Napriek tomu, dátum ešte nie je uvedený na oficiálnych stránkach HIM v sekcii turné, takže neostáva nič iné len čakať na potvrdenie.

HIM live at The Pageant St. Louis

It is great to have the opportunity to follow HIM tour through photos and comments/reviews and here is another one...
Todd Owyoung, young and talented photographer, made beautiful photos at HIM live show in St. Louis few days ago (April 7, 2010).

Je skvelé mať možnosť sledovať turné HIM prostredníctvom fotografií a komentárov/recenzií a tu je jedna z nich...
Todd Owyoung, mladý a talentovaný fotograf, spravil pred niekoľkými dňami krásne fotky HIM v St. Loius (7.apríla 2010).

Poznámky fotografa:
Musím pripustiť, šiel som na tento koncert s očakávaním veľkých zbraní, jasné svetlá žiariace z každej strany, Ville Valo fajčiaci za mikrofónom a zvyšok kapely v rockovom tranze.

Miesto toho, šlo rozhodne o viac dramatické zobrazenie, s náladovým bočným a zadným osvetlením, Ville bez stojana pre mikrofón a bez známky po cigarete počas prvých troch skladieb čo som fotil.

Napriek tomu, fotenie HIM bolo skvelé, i keď fotografi museli zapracovať na dobrých fotkách viac. Osvetlenia bokom, myslím že Ville je pútavým bodom na javisku a jeho vystúpenie nie je výnimkou. Vpravo od Ville stál Mikko Lindström, v pozícii veľmi blízko k LED panelom, čím sa ocitol počas večera v zaujímavom osvetlení.

Shit happens... the route of sound problems continues

Does it need any comments? Sound problems sucks. Annoying not only for band and crew but fans too.... what about starting to make better sound-check before show?
I'm glad in Birmingham except small issues, sound was clear.

Séria technických problémov pokračuje...A to štve nie len skupinu, crew ale aj fanúšikov.... Možno by bolo fajn porozmýšlať nad lepšími skúškami zvuku pred show.

900 miles to see His Infernal Majesty - HIM live in Birmingham

If Mohammad will not go to the mountain, the mountain must come to Mohammad.
Or as one Slovak advertising for soft drinks declares "when you love her, there's nothing to solve". To change just one word in this thought was enough to find myself in Birmingham.

Some of die-hard fans were already occupying places in front of venue. At 9am! Crazy? No. Let's call it devotion or loyalty. And well-tested by afternoon's unpleasant rain. But vivid snake of in black dressed bodies remitted that this Finnish band still have many and many faithful followers.
Doors open at six, the tour bus driver informs me that the band won't come before seven. "No sound-check?" "Nope."

Cause I didn't need to be in first row, I decided to wait at a site entrance with few others. As first arrived Linde with his girl, few minutes later tour bus with rest of members. Ville, kind as always, stopped to sign someone's something and he looked, despite so many years of popularity, somehow surprised by so much attention. Come on boy, when will you get it? You are loved by so many fans around the world.

Hej ľudia! Hovorí vám niečo Sziget festival? Verím, že väčšina z vás pozná túto týždeň trvajúcu akciu, konajúcu sa v Budapešti, Maďarsku. Skutočne nie ďaleko zo Slovenska/Česka/Rakúska/atď.

Pomôžte nám dostať skupinu bližšie k nám! Želajte si ju!
Na oficiálnych stránkach Sziget festivalu je sekcia "Make a wish!" kde môžete hlasovať/uviesť skupiny ktoré chcete vidieť naživo.

Hey hey! Mean Sziget festival something for you? I believe most of you know this week-long event, placed in Budapest, Hungary. Not really far from Slovakia/Czech/Austria/etc.

Helldone 2009

According to Helldone Myspace there will be Helldone Festival place at, as every last years, Tavastia Club in Helsinki, starting December 28th until the 31st.
"We are still working on the lineup but hoping to be able to give you more info in the near future. Please be patient!!!"
I´m not sure how official this is cause I checked it at Tavastia pages and there is program just till December 19th.

Podľa Helldone Myspace sa bude konať Helldone festival, tak ako každý rok, v klube Tavastia v Helsinkách, od 28 do 31 decembra.
"Stále pracujeme na podrobnostiach ale veríme že vám budeme vedieť poskytnúť viac informácií v blízkej budúcnosti. Buďte trpetliví!!!"
Nie som si istá aká oficiálna je táto informácia pretože som to kontrolovala na stránkach Tavastie a program je zatiaľ uvedený do 19 decembra.

Tak verím že je to pravda...i keď je málo pravdepodobné že by som mala možnosť tam byť...
